Baidam Co-Founder Awarded AusCERT 2021 Diversity and Inclusion Champion
Baidam CEO & Co-founder Phillip Jenkinson has been awarded the AusCERT 2021 Diversity and Inclusion Champion award at the AusCERT 2021 Cyber Security Awards and Conference.
Phillip received the award in company with fellow co-founder and proud Muralug man, Jack Reis, at the annual conference and gala dinner held at Star Event Centre on the Gold Coast (Yugambeh Country).
The recognition is particularly special for ‘Pip’ and the Baidam team. In this 20th year of the annual event, this is the inaugural presentation of a Diversity and Inclusion Champion award.
In receiving the award, Phillip addressed the audience at the gala dinner, speaking about his ongoing desire to create a tangible legacy for First Nations People by promoting Indigenous Aspirants into the cyber security industry through the Baidam Pty Ltd vision.
